Lodging - The hotel room block for the NRC 2025 Conference at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort is almost sold out. Thank you to everyone who booked early.

If you still need accommodations, we recommend checking with nearby hotels for availability, such as the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa. Please note that the NRC does not have a negotiated room block rate at this property. We encourage you to secure your lodging as soon as possible to ensure a comfortable stay during the conference. If you'd like to be added to a wait list for a room at the J.W. Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, please email the Marriott Reservations team at: mhrs.mrkfl.reservations@marriott.com. In your email, please include:

  • Your full name, best telephone number and email
  • Desired check in/check out dates
  • Desired room type
  • Indicate you'd like to be added to the National Railroad waitlist.

Event Sponsorships - The NRC offers its members the opportunity to sponsor all or a portion of a specific conference function. General sponsorships also are available. Get positive exposure for your company with some of the planned marketing opportunities:

  • Sponsor ribbon on conference badges
  • Sponsor recognition on the NRC website in lead-up to the Conference
  • Sponsor recognition in NRC Conference emails to attendees, and NRC monthly bulletin
  • Signage with your company logo throughout the venue
  • Recognition at the event
  • Your company logo inside of the NRC Conference Program Guide.

If you are interested in signing up your company as a sponsor for the 2025 conference or have questions about the most up-to-date offerings, email Marian Barreto or call 202-975-0365.

Golf Tournament - The NRC's 2025 Golf  Tournament will be held on Tuesday, January 7, with a shotgun start of 12 pm at the Marco Island Rookery & Hammock Bay courses. The courses are on site where the 2025 NRC Conference will be held. Due to course size constraints, capacity is limited so we encourage early registration. The tournament  registration fee includes carts, green fees, lunch, refreshments, as well as driving  range, and putting green access prior to the shotgun start. Rental clubs must be reserved prior to December 13, 2024.

Golf options and pricing will be detailed when you register. A big thank-you to all of our golf sponsors.

Trap Shooting Event - As an alternative to golf, consider registering for the NRC’s Trap Shooting Event. It will be held on from 1 to 3 pm on Tuesday, January 7, at Gulf Coast Clays. The registration fee includes round-trip bus transportation, water/snacks prior to departure, firearm rentals, ammo, safety protection (glasses and earplugs), bottled water, and a licensed professional at each stand. This event is open to all experience levels and will be fun for everyone. Please register prior to December 13, 2024.

‍Policy on Entertainment - The NRC Board of Directors has adopted a Policy on Entertainment to provide all NRC Conference and NRC-REMSA Exhibition ("Conference") attendees an equal opportunity to participate in the entertainment of our railroad, transit, commuter, passenger and other customers, speakers, and guests.

The Policy applies to events in connection with the Conference. During this timeframe, private hospitality events on or off the Conference premises are not permitted and no organized private entertainment is permitted while conference proceedings or events are occurring. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the common hospitality events and may not organize events that compete with the conference program.

All Attendees are expected to comply with this Policy. By registering for the Conference, you are certifying that all representatives and associates who are attending the Conference on behalf of your organization have been notified of this Policy and will observe and abide by it.

Scam Alert - We ask conference attendees to be vigilant of scams, including any solicitations via email that offer hotel deals or registration lists on behalf of the NRC. These groups are not affiliated with the NRC. Please check the NRC website or email NRC staff directly for the most up-to-date conference information.

IGNORE FRAUDULENT ATTENDEE LIST PROVIDERS
It has come to our attention that scammers have been contacting NRC conference attendees and exhibitors and identifying themselves as having access to attendee lists. NRC does NOT sell its attendee lists to any vendors or other third parties. Anyone attempting to sell you this information is fraudulent and not part of the NRC organization. The NRC strongly recommends that all conference registrants disregard such emails. To report a fraudulent solicitation, use the Federal Trade Commission reporting website.

What our members say…

Railroading is big business, for sure, but it’s also a family business. My railroad mentors, colleagues and connections are a key reason why I highly recommend the industry to young professionals. If you’re looking to grow your industry contacts, I recommend you attend the NRC annual conference. It’s a smart way to build valuable connections and realize the blessings of being part of a family industry.
