The NRC sets aside time every year to recognize shining stars in railway construction and maintenance through a series of awards for exemplary performance. We also invest in the future through educational scholarships and grants targeting next generation.
Each year the NRC calls out exceptional performance at our members companies with the following awards for excellence:
See our video highlighting these 2020 award winners: Large and Small Construction Projects of the Year and Field Employee of the Year.
The NRC knows a thing or two about construction. We understand that a bright future begins with a strong foundation. That’s why we are committed to investing in educational endeavors that help students and railway construction education programs get on track to achieve excellence.
The NRC Education Grant program gave us the flexibility to fund graduate students engaged in developing railway-themed youth outreach activities, and documenting these activities to share with others. Thanks to the support from NRC, railway museums and kindergarten-through-grade 12 (K-12) educators have a new tool for attracting a diverse new generation of railway engineering and construction professionals, including traditionally under-represented groups.
