This springtime event brings together buyers and sellers of used railroad construction and maintenance equipment. All contractors, suppliers, and railroads are invited to sell and/or donate their equipment.  

‍How It Works - A buyer's Premium of 10 percent is charged on all items.

Auction Proceeds for a Worthy Cause - A percentage of the buyer’s premium serves as a donation to the NRC’s safety training programs, including the ongoing safety training DVD series and FRA Part 243 templates.

‍Schedule:

• Virtual "Smalls" Auction - Begins on Friday, April 22, and extends through April 27, at 3 pm EDT - Due to the large volume of scrap metal, small parts and tools, this virtual auction extends over several days until the evening before the live auction. Registered buyers will have an opportunity to bid virtually on smaller auction items via the Proxibid website accessible on a phone, tablet or laptop. Please join us at the NRC Auction Happy Hour at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake to watch items close in real time.
• Live Auction with Online Bidding - Begins on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 9 am EDT . We will conduct the auction live at the Delta Railroad Services yard in Austinburg, Ohio. Registered buyers will have an opportunity to bid in-person or online. All of these large items will close as the auctioneer says, "Sold!"
