The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) announced today the results of the election for its 20-person Board of Directors. The Board elected the following board members to a two-year term extending from 2025 through 2027:
NRC Chairman Joe Daloisio was automatically re-elected to a new term due to his position on the NRC Executive Committee and its planned line of succession.
Last October, the NRC Board named Jerry Hegstrom, Director Commercial Development- Rail Services, with Northern Plains Rail Companies, to its Board of Directors. Mr. Hegstrom took the board seat recently vacated by a prior board member. His term extends through 2026.
About the NRC: The NRC is a U.S. trade association that advances the mutual interests of railway contractors and suppliers who construct, maintain and supply freight railroads and rail-transit and passenger lines. Founded in 1978, the NRC connects members with other railway industry professionals and government officials and policymakers. The NRC collaborates with its members, government, and industry leaders to create a positive business climate and to make railway construction and maintenance safer and more efficient.

“The NRC, aside from being the voice and representation of the railroad contracting industry, provides many great benefits to its members. One such benefit is our annual tuition assistance or Scholarship program. Since 2013, the NRC has offered this program to eligible children and grandchildren of NRC member companies. This past year, we were able to provide assistance to (6) students totaling $33,000. It is an honor to be a part of this and is truly gratifying to be able to invest in the futures of these promising students and to consistently hear how much they appreciate it.”
