The NRC is pleased to announce Keith Creel, President and CEO of Canadian Pacific, will be the keynote speaker for the NRC 2020 Conference at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, California.
Creel started his railroading career in 1992 as an intermodal ramp manager, advancing all the way to President and CEO of a Class I railroad in 2017. He was also named Progressive Railroading's"Railroad Innovator" in 2014 and is is one of the foremost authorities in the industry on Precision Scheduled Railroading.
Creel will be featured in a special "Fireside Chat" from 7:10 to 8:10 am on Monday, January 6, 2020.
Receiving the NRC Scholarship enabled me to take an internship in physical therapy in Costa Rica the summer before my junior year. It was a rewarding experience that solidified my academic direction. Receiving the scholarship my senior year allowed me to reduce my working hours to focus more time on my academic studies. The NRC scholarship was an important component of my undergraduate studies. My future health care career plan is to assist children navigate physical challenges as a Physical Therapist.
